DID YOU KNOW?: The language on the ballot will state: "This is a property tax increase", regardless that the passage of the proposition would NOT impact the tax rate at all. If the 19 million dollar bond package is approved by voters, there will be NO increase to the total tax rate.

-Deferred Maintenance to include HVAC Improvements at Gilbert J. Mircovich Elementary
-Playground Equipment at Ingleside Primary School
-New School Buses
-Reimbursement Resolution for Additional Costs associated with Leon Taylor Middle School construction inflation expenditures to finalize the new building

Fourth graders at Gilbert J. Mircovich Elementary got some hands-on learning when it comes to agriculture in Sinton, Texas. The program, Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, teaches students about how connected they are to the world around them by teaching them how things are produced.

Today the Ingleside VFD visited during P.E. classes to discuss Fire Prevention Week. GJM students were allowed to interact, ask questions and view equipment used to fight fires including an Ingleside VFD Firetruck.

The Ingleside Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new Superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the Board should seek to become the new Superintendent of Ingleside ISD.

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK: Ingleside High School student CTE Departments teamed up to make a final product (which... who wouldn't love??).... COOKIES. The Engineering class made a customized 3D printed cookie cutter for the Ingleside High School Culinary Arts Program students to use in their dessert catering order prepared for the Chemours 50th Anniversary celebration! This is a perfect "real world" example for students to learn about how different departments of an organization work together for a final product or goal! Ingleside Prepared, World Ready!
Don't forget, Mustangs... Monday, September 25th is a Student Holiday.
