One of our sweet first grade students asking his Mom to the Mother/Son dance that was held on Friday.

On Saturday in Kingsville 21 of our students qualified for UIL State Competition.
Bryce Edlin and Alex Robinson received a region soloist medal.
The following students received a First Division Medal in Ensemble performance and will be attending the state meet:
Jenae Pena, Jaqueline Vasquesz, Amber Hays, Felicity Escamilla, Elizabeth Nicklin, Ian Watson, Elizabeth Jaime, Ethan Shuggart, Alissa Stewart Hill, Emily LaDuque, Aubrey Salinas, Aiden Barbey, Raelyn Newcomber, Bryce Edlin, Debra Morgan, Justice George, Quillan Thurman, Trevin Thurman, and Colin Thurman.
In addition, Drum Major Quillan Thurman and Horn soloist Trevin Thurman qualified for State in Solo performance.
We are proud of their performance. These wins represent work that happened above and beyond the expectations of the band class. This was extra work done by the students individually while still maintaining the class workload.
Congratulations!!
