Ingleside, TX—February 25, 2026— Ingleside Independent School District is proud to announce the winners of its annual Teacher of the Year program, recognizing outstanding educators from each campus who go above and beyond to inspire, educate, and support students.

This year’s Teacher of the Year honorees are:

• Regena Collins – Ingleside Primary School

• Rheanna Picarazzi – Gilbert J. Mircovich Elementary School

• Lisa Gonzales – Leon Taylor Middle School

• Sarah Boyles – Ingleside High School

"I am proud to congratulate our 2025–2026 Teachers of the Year. These outstanding educators exemplify excellence, dedication, and heart in everything they do,” said Superintendent Scott Kilgore. “Their commitment to our students and community truly represents the very best of Ingleside ISD, and we are grateful for the impact they make every day.”

Each campus selected its Teacher of the Year through a nomination and voting process, highlighting those who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a profound impact on student achievement.

The winners will be honored at a district-wide recognition event later this spring. Two will advance from this group, where Ingleside ISD will also announce at a later date, who will represent the district as Elementary Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year at the regional level with the Education Service Center, Region 2.
